How often have you seen a beautiful shell on the beach, or picked up a colourful stone, or rock with interesting shapes or markings? We’ve all done it at sometime. Well this print from an original acylic fluid painting of mine … ‘Yellow Stratum’ … is an attempt to draw inspiration from these everyday natural objects. It is designed to create and put a contemporary artistic spin on the environment and our natural landscape. Look closely at the picture and you can almost feel the geological features in the colourful layering and lacing of the rock face.
